I have spent the last week researching what I wanted to do for my 'social learning' page for Assignment 1B. I decided to set up a YouTube Channel which I found really enjoyable and interesting. Everything was really well explained step by step but I do think a lot of learning with technology is through trial and error so you become self taught. I don't feel so afraid to visit different technologies and just have a go. I am quite proficient with computers and feel comfortable using them but I have now realised I do stay in a bubble and not explore to much. I tend to stick to programs or applications where I have had some formal training or what I use in my everyday and working life. I do believe this experience with researching for the right social network has opened up brand new doors. There is so much technology out there and surprisingly most of what you are looking for is free.

My social learning page consists of information all about YouTube, how to set up an account, search for items, what is has to offer and step by step instructions on how to set up and plan your very own YouTube Channel. I hope I have made it really easy to understand and informative. I would love to hear any feedback. Please have a look at my Social Learning page by clicking on the link.
